A homemade embellishments folder !

I loved so much the rainbow color palette suggested by Margareta for the March Scrap Stash Kit Club that I decided to make a folder with handmade embellishments !

homemade embellishments with Kesiart papers
Papers : Patterned papers by Kesiart and cardstock by Bazzill - Tools : dies by Kesiart (white word and heart) - Other : machine sewing, ribbon and India ink.

I stitched several acetate pages on the folder and I used removal adhesive to stick my embellishments on them.

After I took this photo, I also added two pockets on the inner cover for holding more embellishments.

Here is a closer look to the inside pages :

From top left to bottom right, a pocket with embellishment cards, some multicolored labels (stamped), some flowers (quilling anf felt), some cork and embossed vellum shapes, some layered shapes and glazed wood buttons, some faux stickers (stamped), some fabric and paper bows, some rosettes, and an envelope with fussy cut stamped labels or tickets.

If you want more details about handmade embellishments, you can check this old post with lots of tutorials links.

Finally, I also made some 3 by 4 embellishment cards, even if I don't do Project Life, because they are so cute !

  1. What a cool project! Are you going to use the PL cards on scrapbooking pages or are you actually doing PL?
